Meet the Emerging Women Leaders of Winston Salem | Winston-Salem Photography Studio
One of my favorite parts of life is seeing people own their strengths and abilities. I believe that we have each been created with unique talents and abilities with which we can contribute to the betterment of the lives around us. So when I see people stepping into who they are made to be, I get chills of excitement, awe and appreciation for just how amazing and intricate the big picture of life is. This is why I love the opportunity to partner with groups that focus on nurturing and bringing out the best in people like HandsOn Winston-Salem .
Being the photographer for the HandsOn Winston-Salem Northwest branch’s Emerging Women Leaders program is a blessing. I look forward to each time I get to photograph these women - women who are bettering our community.
”Recognizing the importance and need for developing leadership among women who comprise the majority of the nonprofit work force, the Women’s Emerging Leaders (WEL) program was created to help prepare, strengthen and support women for future leadership roles. WEL is a ten month program consisting of two components: an intensive Leadership Essentials for Women workshop and enrollment in the Nonprofit Essentials Program, a series of skill building classes jointly sponsored by HandsOn NWNC and Wake Forest University’s Pro Humanitate Institute.” - HandsOnNWNC
